...or tie a belt around the seat to maintain the pressure so Murtaugh can get up and not trigger the bomb? His weight on the seat is preventing the bomb from going off isn't it? Or if it's a light trigger slide a piece of tile or something under his butt.

I have just over 2 weeks until surgery. I've been reading about what to pack, what to have ready at home, etc. and the one thing I am seriously considering spending money on is an elevated toilet seat. I just think that it will be a big help and worth the money----any thoughts? If you have one, which brand did you go with? Was it hard to attach to your existing ...

I removed my 30-year-old unpleasant looking loo seat today. The bolts and hinges fell apart in the process...having partially disintegrated. I tried fitting a new seat but to my SHOCK the boltholes on my toilet are TOO FAR apart. The gap between the hole centres is 7.5 inches (19cm) Having accepted that the new seat is ...

I need help! I have bought a new toilet seat to replace a 31 yr old one! The toilet bolt holes are 7.5 inch apart (centre to centre) and the new seat has a hinge with holes much closer togther rendering it useless. I have 3 options: 1. Buy new seat (I've been looking online for one with adjustable hinges all day...so far nothing that will fit!) 2. Is there a way of putting different ...

I need to undo the hinges on the above (the original seat has snapped) but cant seem to loosen them. The parts are the two circular chrome plates from which vertical posts rise - the "soft-close" hinge that forms part of the seat and cover assembly, then clips onto these posts. I cannot see how the plates/posts fix to the pedestal - they do not bolt through and rorating them (to loosen)...

If you acidently get blood on the toilet seat of the public restroom, do you wipe it up? If not, why? Why do people not wipe up their blood of the seats? You know you are on your period and it wasn't there before you used the toilet. Why not just clean it? I am asking, because I just went to the bathroom here at work. On one of the toilets, there was drips of blood and it made me want to ...

CamiNMe-omg ur name is hilarious I love it. Yea that is true but at least I wont see it and have the urge to puke. It's people's own decisions whether or not they want to sit on a germy toilet seat. I just don't want to see your period blood or your pee at that! It's yours! clean it up!

I'm looking for a pink toilet seat for a 1954 Crane Neuday toilet. Client would prefer that it matches to the existing toilet (and sink and tub), but doesn't want to pay and arm and a leg. Where should I look? I know the toilet isn't efficient, but it's in perfect condition. Thanks, Jason

One year the plumber accidentally hooked up the warm water to our toilet intake. No one realized for quite a while. My mom (who is always cold) was SO sad when the switched it back! Lol

Hi I think the elevated toilet seat is a great idea. The one I am familiar with, you just put up the regular seat and placed this one (it can be removed for anyone that will not use it). This one also had handles on the side to ease getting up. I think you can get different types with and without handles, but I think they all install the same way. Believe it or not, ...
