Could anyone confirm that the self-timer release mode will not stick on a D5000? I tried taking a number of pictures with the camera in exactly the same position on a tripod, but between every shot the camera "forgot" that I had asked it to use self-timer. Nikon's idea seems to be to use the fn-button to "easily" switch it back on between each photo, but that is somewhat impractical for me, as ...

I have a Kenmore gas dryer model # 97478100 serial # MC4408300. My dryer will only run to completion when I set the timer to 10 min. or autodry. If I set for any other time it will not start and run. Do I need to just replace the timer unit? Thanks, Chris

I have a set of LED color change icicle lights that aren't working with my timer. The timer will turn them off, and it's powering on my incandescent bulbs fine, but because the LEDs are color change, they've got a separate on/off controller that's being reset to "off" when the timer clicks off. Is there a better way to set the lights up so that I can either automatically or remotely turn the ...

Not sure if this question belongs in this forum, but I haven't heard much about the bike's built-in lap timer and none of the press reports that have come in so far say anything about the lap timer. I'd like more details. For example, can it be programmed for specific tracks? Can I download the data on my computer to keep a record of lap times for various tracks and improvements (or lack thereof ...

Looking for in wall bathroom fan timer I'm looking for an in wall timer for a bathroom exhaust fan. The only problem is, the same switch plate (is that the correct term?) has 2 switches, an on/off for the light & an on/off for the fan. I'd like to put the fan on a 60-120 minute timer. I've seen single switch in wall timers...
