When I send an sms to people they complain because it seems they receive the message an hour later than I send it. I send it at 7 PM, they receive it at 7 PM but in my sms it says it was sent at 8 PM. I have communicatet with a few people at Nokia about this. They keep telling me I have to find where to change the Time zone. I cannot find this option. I can change the time, date and ...

Charlie Brown Christmas and Disney Prep and Landing were scheduled for 7-8pm tonight on ABC. They were preempted by the president's address. The Omaha ABC station has announced that those shows will be show on Monday, Dec 8, 7-8pm. Other ABC stations in this time zone may do the same.

Hello all: Is there a way to change Final Cut Server's time zone? It seems the software uses the GMT time zone as its reference. Therefore, whenever it runs on a computer located in another time zone, it still uses the GMT based timestamp. So, for example, as my time zone is GMT less 3 hours, my FCSvr is always stamping the time as 3 hours in advance. Sometimes, this is really ...

Is there a way to keep the Droid (Google) calendar from adjusting event times each time I go into a different time zone ? I live in the Pacific Time Zone, and enter all my events at home. When I travel, the calendar "adjusts" the event time by the number of hours difference between PST and the time zone I am in. This is frustrating, since I then need to mentally calculate the time back to PST....

Article ID: 842545 - Last Review: May 18, 2007 - Revision: 1.5 Remoted DateTime values in a DataSet object are converted to the equivalent local time of a remote computer that is in a different time zone. The work around works great except for the AZ timezone when it is not daylight savings time. A date sent to AZ is being adjusted 2 hours by the web service but the actual time difference is ...

I recently bought a new 3g iPod Touch 32gb, and I'm very happy with it. However, one issue I've discovered so far is that every time I sync it (i.e. every time i plug it in to charge - so every night!) it automatically resets the time to London GMT time zone. I'm British and the clock on my computer is set to London time - but I live and work in South Korea, so I set my iPod to ...

I recently installed Office 2007 and in the process messed up my time zones. The long and short of it is that while everything is working now, I somehow changed the time zones of several appointments to a different time zone. I can go in and fix them individually, but wondered if there is a way to select and change them collectively. I am using Windows XP as my OS.

Oh... we're addicted. That, and House, are the two shows we have that we MUST watch. I'm on pins and needles waiting for the new season of 24 now too. Ugh! I don't LIKE getting stuck on shows. I'm one of those folks who doesn't generally do that. NCIS gets me tho... I like McGee (sp?)... and Gibbs... Lordy, every time they do a show with flashbacks to his daughter, I just bawl. And when he smiles...

If you're asking about the Steam Community time, name here, then the time comes from your browser. Your browser gives a time zone to the PHP code on the communities web site, and that sets the offset in some math that happens for all displayed times in the site. It's possible that you're sending an unrecognized time zone, as PHP has some issues in this area--most of which we fixed last summer.
