It still works fine (it turns on/off and i can go on the net) and my other half can play WOW at rather rubbish settings with some huge lag spikes if you do scary things like try and move... You don't want core 2, and that mobo won't work with that CPU anyways. switch that CPU to this one . This mobo is better and cheaper . Otherwise it's pretty decent.

Its time to upgrade the family computer again and I always appreciate the advice given here. budget 600-800. no monitor needed or dvd writer as I can use the ones I have. Looking at quad core with Win 7. Needs good graphics but not top of the line. I usually keep the computer and upgrade it for 4-5 years. Used for digital picture processing, internet browsing and some gaming. Thanks...
