We have had installed an acrylic shower base (Americh), and are having the shower walls tiled. What is the proper way to seal the area where the bottom tiles end and meet the acyrlic material? I am thinking the tiler will just use grout, but would silicone caulk be better?

I installed some really beautiful Walker Zanger Mizu crackle tile in my bathroom about 3 years ago. Shamefully, I never applied the Miracle 511 penetrating sealer that the tiler left. Now I notice maybe 6 tiles within the shower surround that no longer have that glass feeling on top, and I figured I'd really better seal those tiles. I scrubbed with a Dobie pad, but the finish on those few ...

This might sound a bit strange but I'm looking for a tiler in or around Sunderland who would be kind enough to let me give them a hand maybe a day or two per week for a few weeks. I don't want any money (just a cup of tea now and then ) I will be honest as I don't want people thinking I'm trying to check out the competition or steal business, the reason why I want this is because I want to ...

My tiler tells me that because my tiles are not in a wet area and have a bevel they do not need to have spacers as the tiles have a mosaic effect finish so the whole tile is grouted. Is this correct advice?

Help please: the tiles are beginning to come off my bath panel, which was installed as a new bathroom a year ago. The grout started to crack after a only a couple of months. The tiler insists that he used flexible adhesive and that it is due to movement of the bath panel. Is he correct? What can be done to avoid this happening? Would be grateful for any advice. Thanks.
