Good day I have almost every day CPU Limiting Factors (Throttling) about 3-7 seconds. What is the threshold of the maximum threshold may be, before I was thrown out with the hosting? I want to see, CPU Limiting Factors (Throttling) happen so once a day and at a certain time, then during the day all right. P.S CPU Limiting Factors (Throttling) 3-4 seconds - this is for the whole day

I've been with BT on option 3 for a couple of years now and am now looking for an ISP which provides better value and no throttling. Sky looks like a good option but I do not want a TV package too - is that madatory? Any other ideas? TIA

I have a new celeron laptop being a celeron, it can't be undervolted. no software will let me. but there is software that will allow cpu throttling. I can virtually run the cpu at half speed. i can feel everything running slower. but the cpu voltage remains the same.- does that mean I'm using the same amount of power at idle, whether i have it at 2ghz or 1ghz?

OK. I just recieved my Optiplex 960, with an E8400. It idles at 1995ghz. Bios options show: speedstep = off c states control = off limit cpuid value = off  There is no CPU management option in power options > advanced options.  How do I get my cpu @ 3.0 ghz (NO throttling) all the time? OS is vista, if that helps any.  Thanks for any answers or suggestions.

Bandwidth throttling again... I was finally getting annoyed with Chrome so I installed two browsers (Opera, Firefox). Opera didn't support google wave, so I threw that out the window and now I'm back on Firefox. On the same download, chrome throttles openSUSE to a 30 days later download but firefox attempts to maintain my download speed... what?

So before I get yelled at I did read the recently posted throttling topic, but it didn't seem to provide the solution I was looking for. My problem is this; I run mprime on my laptop, which is my current primary machine, but I don't want it running it all out (due to both heat and power issues). The processor is a Core 2 Duo P8700 (2.53 Ghz dual core) which can heat up a decent amount if run ...

My original post is below, but I have new information. I contacted Silcondust & sent diagnostic logs in for the connection issue with the HD Homerun tuner, they said that the logs show a lot of network errors & network packet loss, but they are short on solutions so far. In looking up network packet loss, I came across this vista feature & it seems like this could be the cause. I watched the ...

Currently running backup exec 12.5 and 11d on two different servers. I was going to update 11d to 12.5 but wanted to resolve this issue first. both running 2003 both use a scsi both use a quantum sdlt600 tape drive for backing up both are pulling sources from within(no network) both start off about 1400mb\min both throttle back to about 200mb\min IÂ have updated the drivers ...

On the Medium 10mb package and usually when I go over 1.5gb download per day, It'll throttle me down to 200KB/s. However, I've noticed 2 days this week when I've went over that, My speed stayed the same. Thought It might be they've done away with the Medium 10mb and just gone onto the Large now, Meaning I have 3gb per day. So went upto 3gb now, Still no throttling, Upto 3.8gb now and still ...

It's not much of a problem, but I was wondering why we now have to wait a certain amount of time to view the 'New Posts' again. It's a little annoying, because it's my main way of navigating the forums. Just wanna know why.

My current method of software deployment is using System Center Configuration Manager Version: 4.00.6221.1000 My shop is setup to prestage software packages to branch distribution points to be installed on a demand, or advertised basis. Due to bandwidth concerns and throttling during the daytime, we only push the software packages to the distribution points After office hours. I ...

I thought the installation of SP3 fixed a throttling of FW800 (1394b) device speeds down to 100 speed...but apparently not ? This seems to be the hotfix for the previous hotfix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/955408/en-us Since many of us are running Firewire 400 (1394a) interfaces, it would be interesting to find out if this is affected by these issues as well ? The earlier ...

Saw the new pricing ( http://mybroadband.co.za/news/Wireless/10586.html ) and have rather mixed feelings about it considering making the throttling a bolt-on option (as now users on 1gb+64k throttled are paying MORE per month) but having 128kb uncapped would be rather nice from where I'm standing since I can get 1 GB account + 128kb uncapped for less than I'm paying right now. 2 questions then...

I have solid steady fuel pressure tuned correctly to about 38psi and it goes up to about 43 psi when I build boost (both reving neutral AND driving). I build boost appropriately up to 7lbs. when throttling (revving neutral AND driving), but it: ---requires high throttle on gear shifting (including initial movement in 1st gear) or it will stall ---has very little acceleration power when I get ...

Hi, I know that Exetel has now decided not to offer these plans anymore due to throttling issues on the wholesale network.. I didn't know this change was coming, and changed to the 8Mb plan the month prior to that newsletter and the subsequent removal of the 8Mb plans from the sign up pages. I had originally planned to be on the $85 a month plan for a month or so to see whether I needed the ...
