Hi all ! Question about threading, Is it technically possible to transfer data to vram in a threaded way ? I mean for example calling HardwareVertexBuffer::writeData(...) from a thread other than the mainthread so that it doesn't block execution if larger amounts are transferred frequently. I looked in the Ogre-OpenGL sourcecode and saw it calls glBufferDataARB(...) directly without using any ...

I found this great place for threading in Foster City and now going there continuously for over a year. Shilpi is excellent in handling all aspects of threading including eyebrow shaping, full face, upper lip etc. Several of my Friends have been to her and all of them had best experience, specially the ones who had gone thru a disaster before at other threading places in bay area. Unlike ...

CILLAKAT? Question regarding post waxing / threading of facial hair and bumps ++ I read someone post that using a 1% cortisone cream after hair removal will help reduce or eliminate the resulting red bumps that sometimes flare up after waxing facial hair. First, is hydrocortisone cream the same as cortisone cream? Second, is this something I should be using as short contact therapy as well? ...

I use Thunderbird, and I was wondering if there was any way to have email notifications sorted into threads. It's really hard to follow conversations through email, since without threads they're divorced of context. If there's no way to get email threading working, are there any plans to implement this feature in the future?

This may seem like a really simple question, but can I use the System.Threading namespace in ASP.NET web forms? I have a web page which uses HTTP GET/POST to gather page customisations (title, subtitle, etc.) from the user and numerical input which is passed to a ASMX web service. Currently they work sequentially, the customisation first followed by numerical processing. So can I use threading ...

Thanks in ...

I am interested in upgrading to a 27" i5 or i7. According to intels site all i-core processors support Hyper-threading. At work I use a quad core Xeon on a HP computer with Windows 7. The system reports that I have 8 cores in performance monitor as it sees each core as 2 cores with Hyper-threading enabled in the Bios. Does Apple enable hyper-theading in EFI and does Mac OSX see ...

RIM BB, please have a 5.0 that has an option for threading sms and the original phone like sms. I recently upgraded my OS because most people said 5.0 is snappier but I really dont like the SMS thread. I wish you give us that in the option because some like the threading and some don't. I like 5.0's other upgrades but the SMS, I don't like because I would like to see my sms sorted not ...

MSDN says that MemoryCache's instance members are not thread safe. ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.run time.caching.memorycache(VS.100).aspx ) Does that mean every time I call Get() or Add() in a action method I have to wrap it with a lock?

Unlike WPF and Silverlight, there appears to be no way to get a variable value passed out from a thread...or is there? I tried using a "lock" but maybe I'm doing it wrong, see below. Is there a template somewhere? I have successfully done threads in ASP.NET, but never where they share a variable as here, CountVariable1 MS int CountVariable1; protected void Page_Load(object sender, ...

Implements AI and different game speeds. I know that the threading kind of takes up a lot of memory. But it still works great on a decent machine. Enjoy Download Here (http://www.filefront.com/15877953/Spark-Pong.zip/ ) Attached File(s) Spark Pong.zip (302.75K) Number of downloads: 2

I am wondering where I can locally/easily source a decent turbo oil feed line coupler to a t3/t4? (braided line to turbo where it meets from the block) I have tried using a regular brass coupler with appropriate threading, and no matter how snug it is, the oil still gushes out. I am requiring replacement of the coupler as it broke recently (cheap fleabay aluminum-esque coupler that came with the...
