Hi all ! Question about threading, Is it technically possible to transfer data to vram in a threaded way ? I mean for example calling HardwareVertexBuffer::writeData(...) from a thread other than the mainthread so that it doesn't block execution if larger amounts are transferred frequently. I looked in the Ogre-OpenGL sourcecode and saw it calls glBufferDataARB(...) directly without using any ...

I found this great place for threading in Foster City and now going there continuously for over a year. I use Thunderbird, and I was wondering if there was any way to have email notifications sorted into threads. It's really hard to follow conversations through email, since without threads they're divorced of context.   If there's no way to get email threading working, are there any plans to implement this feature in the future?

This may seem like a really simple question, but can I use the System.Threading namespace in ASP.NET web forms? I have a web page which uses HTTP GET/POST to gather page customisations (title, subtitle, etc.) from the user and numerical input which is passed to a ASMX web service. Currently they work sequentially, the customisation first followed by numerical processing. So can I use threading ...

MSDN says that MemoryCache's instance members are not thread safe. ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.run time.caching.memorycache(VS.100).aspx ) Does that mean every time I call Get() or Add() in a action method I have to wrap it with a lock?
