Ok, so there are three bulbs in the third brake light (the brake light on the back of the cab). After having these bulbs out for some time (I take them out when I have my camper shell on) I recently re-installed them. Now, only the center bulb works. Hello all, I purchased my first Alfa - a '86 spider - a few days ago. The trunk mounted tail light three pronged connectors are installed but the other half, the side that mounts to the body was completely missing and the wires were just rattling around inside the bodywork (no wonder the previous owner kept popping brake light fuses!). Doe anybody know where I can get this piece? Thanks! Tom

I was wondering if anyone knew if the high mounted third brake light on the V is the same for 2009 and 2010?? The reason I ask is because on the cadillac main website under pictures, they're seems to be a difference between the two years. The 2009 brake light seems to have the top of it painted the color of the car, in this case the color is black. It makes it look more like small spoiler. ...

I noticed over the weekend (it hasn't rained here in three days) that there's apparently some moisture visible from the rear of the car looking at the third-brake-light lens. The trunk is dry, as is the passenger compartment. Is this 'normal'?

I just added an LED third light to my 56. I connected the HOT wire to the hot end of the stop switch prior to the turn signal block so it wouldn't flash with my turn signals. That part works great. But now the third light come on when I turn my lights on. Is there a way to isolate the wire in order to not get the voltage from the other direction? Do I need a diode in the wire or is ...
I have an OEM High mount Lamp. Also knows as third brake light (the one in the spoiler and not on the rear window) This is original OEM brake light. If you have an OEM Replica spoiler this light will not work for your spoiler. It will work only on original OEM 03-07 spoilers. sorry those are not my pictures I just found them on a driver. If I were you I would not do it. IMO there is no good looking rear lip. Either go with full bumper or don't touch it at all. rear OEM with GT-R kit rear wings is the best IMO.

My 2003 CTS failed inspection due to a third brake light out. Dealer list price is $600....is this right? Anyone every replace this? Does the whole unit need to be replaced or can just the actual light be done? THANKS!

Well For one can anyone tell me how to open the rear glass? when I hit the button, theres no release. actuator doesnt um.. actuate Additionally the 3rd brake light is out, could it be related?

Pretty nice! I removed my basket also, and have been driving less 3rd brake light. Looks great, you must be an engineer too 8-p. I am going this route too.
