For the last year or so when I turn on the A/C in my Subaru Outback (99) if I'm driving under about 45 mph it makes a loud "growling" sound and the air coming out is not very cool. When I drive on the freeway over 50 I can't hear the sound and the air comes out pleasantly cool. This has been going on for a while and it hasn't been that big of a deal until this heat wave we're having here in the ...

Advertisements [ ? ] It used to be a glacial home for polar bears but a section of London Zoo is to be given over instead to illustrating how climate change affects animals in the Australian Outback. The Mappin Terrace has been repopulated with 20 wallabies and four emus to demonstrate how difficult it is for animals to survive in the harsh, dry conditions ...

Two Words: PEAK OIL (And what it means for you and your Outback) You may have heard the term already... ghastly predictions of petroleum production peaking sometime between now and 2015, and then starting the steady decline to depletion while world demand goes up (based on work of M.K. Hubbert in the 1950s, formerly of Shell). You can imagine what the corresponding result in prices would...

2002 Outback Wagon Hatch Latch Stuck Closed Hi there - my 2002 Outback wagon hatch latch has been sticky for quite a while. This means when you squeeze it to release the hatch, it doesn't spring back, so you move it manually back into place before you close the hatch, and you have about a 50 50 chance of it opening again. Now it's really stuck closed and I can't open the hatch at all....

Ugh wrote: What is this, 1700? Gimme a break. Let's spend a while talking about the men: fat, bald, potbellied, old farts who somehow still speak ill of women, with a straight face. Hey guys, you're not all exactly BRAD PITT. The men are probably ugly to lol. Even ugly people need love :)

Lol, come to the real Australia then you can have all the steakhouses and and accents you want theres one down the street, but I wouldn't get your hopes up for that either...it opened only months ago and the neon sign is already busted -- Old mother Hupboard went to the cupboard to fetch her poor dog a bone. When she bent over, Rover took over and gave her a bone of his own.

Re: Drain Plugs quote: Originally posted by tirolerpeter Some types of drain plugs do not have washers because the thread is machined in a "conical" manner. The inner part of the plug is a slightly smaller diameter than the outer end. As you turn the plug in, the plug gets slightly wider, and totally seals the opening. BTW, I hope the O.P. is turning the plug/bolt in ...
