Well, so far really only had a chance to listen to the Kubelik performace , and so far only Vltava (the one that caught my ear to begin with), and I found it quite enjoyable. I listened all the way through in my car before finally going in to work. It actually was an awesome experience. I mean I got lost in the music-I don't know whether it was the music or the performance, but it definately ...

I'm also a Pandora fan. My Organic Chemistry professor was the one who introduced it to us in class. I still don't know what kind of music I like. However, Smetana's "The Moldau" ranks among my favorite pieces of music. Also up there is the New York Philharmonic's rendition of the Korean folksong, "Arirang." Look it up on YouTube. It's wonderful.

Tchaikovsky is a great introduction to classical music, since it's very accessible. His ballet melodies like Swan Lake and The Nutcracker are so well known, that even if you don't know what it is you're already familiar with it.
