UPDATED Wed Jul 30 2008 10:43:08 I bought this recently, the Anchor bay edition and I was quite pleased. I had never seen it before. It's got some good gore and deaths and is a little creepy. I love it! One of my all time favorites. If you could read my mind love, what a tale my thoughts would tell

However the young boy of the family has a special psychic gift which makes him see a mysterious girl who warns him about the dangers that will happen and the house's history of terrible going-ons. That title sounds like it's riffing on the Italian name for City of the Living Dead - Paura nella città dei morti viventi or "Fear in the City of the Living Dead". It looks like it will be a mail-order fan film made by nobodies. I'm not getting excited or upset about it. The original could probably do with a decently-budgeted remake, however. I thought it was pretty flawed. I know...

This film has took me 4 nights to get through it and now I wish that I had not purchased it at all. Granted it was not the uncut version but I do not think that would have made a difference. It was just one big mess. It is one of the worst horror films ever made. I liked Fulci's The beyond and Zombie flesh eaters but this was just a waste of time. Acting gets a 0-5 Soundtrack 3-5 ...

Specifically, the waste disposal complications of industrial farming and its long-term effects on the environment and surrounding populace. This article is somewhat dated, but really very edifying: quote: Boss Hog America's top pork producer churns out a sea of waste that has destroyed rivers, killed millions of fish and generated one of the largest fines ...

Detroit News If the heady whiff of exhaust gets your blood going, this is your weekend. Metro Detroit's delirious salute to piston-driven power -- the 14th annual Woodward Dream Cruise -- roars out of the gate this Saturday. But anyone who's driven up Woodward Avenue in the past few weeks, cheek-by-jowl with hundreds of cars that look like they were borrowed from the "Happy Days" set,...

Having just taken the second Jet Blue (B6?) flight of my life and my first in several years, I wanted to post my experience for others who may be considering switching to the carrier. A lot of things went wrong, some of which were their fault and some of which weren't, so I got a really good range of "experiences," some of which were handled well and some of which weren't. Overall, I got to ...
