The Dog Brothers - Topic profile

I was invited to a DB training/fight near San Francisco tomorrow. I'm a dead man. Anyone know how they usually train? By that, I mean what a workout is like. I know it's Eskrima with MMA, of course, but what should someone expect at practice?

I have always enjoyed reading about and watching videos of the dog brothers.

I'm just back from a few days away with the family so I couldn't reply till now. The DB's stuff might look bad but AFAIK there has been no very serious injuries particularly when you consider what they do. If you look at the prison warden who had a back injury and came out unscathed and the fact that when someone is pretty much out of it, fights get stopped pretty quick, I think peoples chances ...

...and many of those I've had the joy to perform with onstage, I share your outrage. I cannot fathom why this sort of verbal beat-down is allowed to stand. There should be a stack of pizzas ready for delivery.
