Under what circumstances do you have to open your hood for a cop in Cali? Seems like they're profiling cars with a certain "look". Can you refuse to open the hood? Is it like the trunk, where they have to have your permission (or a warrant)?

I've never been in a chase on a bike, that i know about. I have heard from others that a cop tried to pull me over ?? I never saw them.
