I need to rent out a ballroom for an event. It needs to be in St, Petersburg Florida, and not too big, but big enough for 50-70 people.

My DH and I are taking ballroom dancing lessons again. We go this afternoon. We took lessons for six months last year and I loved them. We stopped when I took a new job and was working 50 hours a week but we want to get back into it to get ready for the cruise we are taking this fall. Spent some of my younger years in Dublin and danced to the showbands in National Ballroom and Irene Ballroom in Parnell Square. Went back on nostalgic trip last week and noticed both delapidated and closed up. All I can really say is that it's all about your overdrive. Find a place where you can cram a lot of notes with a good multiplier and pump it with your OD.

I am having my reception at the Petroleum Club. My parents were married there and I am keeping up with tradition. The staff has been awesome and I love the fact that all of my vendors have worked there before.

Thanks, Janfred. I imagine that ships add gentlemen hosts when there are more days at sea/longer cruises. I am looking at Mexican Riviera (even though that is usually only 7 days) or a Caribbean Cruise, which is often 10-11 days. Maybe the latter is a better bet for dancing for me. I love to dance, it is my passion. So for me, a cruise has to have dancing and hosts. Thanks. G
