I really don't get how people can watch the trailer for Avatar and still think its somehow related to The Last Airbender. The word Avatar existed way before that show. And their obviously not related at all.

I'm watching taped (yes) episodes of Avatar. I'm up nto season 3, episode 4 9SOkka's Master) The episode egins as usual with a "previously, On Avatar" segment. There was a scene though, which I didn't understand. I showed Zuko and Uncle Iroh in a tavern, where Iroh was playing his weird tiles game. He used a special move which was apparently a code somehow to set up a sectet meeting/whatever...

I know it's not a teen nick show but I LOOOOVEEEE Avatar! The cartoon is so awesome and I kind of wish we had a board for it because I know I'm not the only one who loves it and likes talking about it I mean, what ever happened to Zuko's mom????

Ok Ugly, now you can see where Sokka's XP has been spent...The GM has made him EARN his points in Army, plus he had to get his War up to a point where he could be a leader. Shame he botched his epic insperational speech roll. He's more a comic type right now. Now when they create the next Avatar show, all bets are on him being a Conan-like King.

There is an unintended message with movies like this one and 21 (more so with 21 since it was based on a real person) that nobody would want to watch an Asian lead. It's a discouraging message.
