witching to Linux: One man's personal experience Photographer Scott Rowed has penned an excellent essay on his experience making the switch to Linux, and he's agreed to place it here as a guest post. Please read it and pass it on to people, school districts, small island nations, and others who may benefit:

Methinks this quadruple witching options day had something to do with the strange action, not only with that PPHM, but also with other stocks. Pick a few stocks and look at an intra-day chart (5- or 15-min, for example)...you'll see some strange action at the EOD, volume- and price-wise Nevertheless, let's hope it's for real and you NICE folks in that PPHM get the break you've been waiting for! ...

Could be an interesting session as quadruple witching day hints at high volatility, but futures are pointing slightly higher in the wake of some solid tech earnings from RIMM and ORCL. Oil's off to a good start up nearly 2%. Benchmark S&P futures +0.05%; Regional and state employment coming at 10:00.

So I bought the witchking expansion pack off of EA, downloaded it, installed, it worked fine. Then I download the patch to play online, go to play again, it says I need to "insert the CD-Rom" in order to load the game. EA is a legal download, I ripped no one off. The game SHOULD work without needing the CD-rom....and it did...for a little while. What am I doing wrong to it now? ....

Reese seems to have her "witching hour" as my mom would put it at about 9pm. Not every night, this bad of a screaming fit hasnt happened since last Sunday I think. But OMG last night from 10-maybe 1130 ish she just screamed! She would somewhat calm down when I put her on my shoulder. She just seemed so uncomfortable/tired. Im not sure if its colic because its not everyday (at least not yet) not ...

I wasn't aware of the witching day thing. Could have been a factor. Just shows how all these derivatives can drive other things nuts at times. Classic tale of the tail wagging the dog. One day, the whole she-bang cracks. CD
