I have a QNAP TS101 running twonky & itunes. Does anyone know if I can still use SBB without going through some sort of hack on my QNAP? Do I have to install squeezebox server on a NAS to get it to work? I hope not- Im not that savvy on hacking away using telnet

I don't think Twonky is working well for some reason. See images http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/5630/mc1u.jpg I noticed in Win Media Player the tracks were incomplete and not showing full albums. I told WHS not to look for music in the library. I will have it look in "My Music" I let it run all today. When I left this morning it was showing the progress bar. When I returned home it ...

Very cool stuff, this Twonky Beam, (from the fine folks at Twonky Media) After using this free software to stream audio & video right from my web browser to other connected devices in my home, I'm pondering severely cutting my cable expenses. It's terrific. For the last week I've been streaming web content to my Samsung LN40B650 as well as audio to my Denon AVR-4308. It really works ...

Hi I have Twonky embedded on my WD NAS. I am trying desperately to get it to serve up my itunes library so I get the playlists to play on my PS3. From what I have read this is possible. I can get the itunes tracks to play on the PS3, but it won't display the playlists. Any help greatly appreciated.

I just got my new World Book. Naturally it comes packed with Twonky. I hate it. I asked WD if I could change it, but they haven't replied. Any suggestions? Will these void my warranty, etc. Lastly, I hold a BSEE, not afraid of getting dirty. Know of any ways to hack out some better performance from my cheap NAS?

You can consider a sheevaplug computer to run SBS 7.4 and leave your music files on the 101. This is probably the cheapest solution. The Sheevaplug costs 99 dollar and has a 1,2 ghz pocessor with 512mb ram, consumes just 3 watt of power, so plenty for a good SBS performance. Search the forum for sheeva, there is plenty of info and a wiki page on how to install.

Bestimmt hochinteressant...
