I have heard that crap since the seventies when I lived in Ft. Myers..we were a 20 minute drive to the beach..Ft Myers Beach...through out the year every opportunity we had we went there..we worried about the supposed rising seas that were going to change the land scape and wipe out the beachfront properties...Well in April of 2007 we went there with Robbie before he deployed to Iraq so he could ...

Here’s a link to a pic of the font used in the Time-Life “Ultimate Seventies” CD series. I’ve seen this font a million times, but can’t seem to ID it. If anyone can help, I’d be much appreciative: http://host.jwcinc.net/3942996/albumart/VA_-_Time_ Life-Ultimate_Seventie...

I listened to an old CD (circa 1987 according to Amazon) called HIGHS OF THE SEVENTIES, and it had some pretty high quality cd masters on it. One of the songs that particularly caught my attention was I Wouldn't Want to Be Like You by the Alan Parsons Project. I did an EAC on it and found the peak level to be 86.3%. I can't find any information about this master anywhere on the internet. ...

Inspired by an old piece of curtain I still had I decided to put colour in my bathroom using some more elements of that 'horrible' style period -without painting the walls in orange :) What are the seventies to you? Were you glad when a few years ago bell bottoms and low waists were back in fashion? Or a page in history to never open anymore? I think taken out of their context some ...

New "Black Hole" film Just read on Dark Horizons that the team that is currently producing Tron will go on to do a reboot of the Black Hole movie from the late seventies. This to me is mixed news. As a kid I loved this movie and I still watch it on a regular basis. But it has gone un-noticed, unappreciated for a looooooong time! As an independent film maker myself, I always had dreams ...

I read an interesting theory at Dark UFO. This theory purports that time lines can run parallel to each other. In other words, just because Sawyer and company "flashed back" to the seventies, it doesn't alter what happened in a concurring time line of the same events. In this case, they don't save Amy, she gets captured by the Hostiles and she and Ethan become a part of the Hostile group....

I started learning to DIY in the late seventies. Thought this was interesting. The Rise and Fall of DIY BY STEVE SWEDBERG d o it yourself or DIY is a part of the American language. It is everywhere, from magazines to television (theres even a cable channel named DIY) as well as books and internet sites. Yahoo delivers almost 800 million results on the topic, running the gamut from ...

Orthocracy is a developing book in blog form which offers non-comformist social commentary. Written by a man in his seventies, I find that it matches my own views quite closely on most issues. Well worth reading if you like the sort of thought I have been offering over the years, and probably skippable if you don't.

The included mini-booklet details many of the sessions from the mid-seventies with the mics used and in what combinations. And if you enjoy ironic, tongue-in-cheek mondo rock, the music cannot be beat. Great musicianship, that sounds fabulous. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...pf_rd_i=507 846
