Most Extensive Watchtower Schism? What are the opinions among participants here of the most extensive schism amongst those associated with Watchtower? In my view one of the largest (if not the largest) schisms occurred in the late 1920s when we see a reduction of more than 80 percent in the attendance of Watchtowers annual memorial event. In 1925 the total attendance was 90,434. In 1928 the ...

Here is part of the reason why The Great Schism exists. The Church of the Seven Ecumenical Councils called for an equilibrium that we find in Canon 34 of the Apostolic Canons. These canons date from the first half of the fourth century and mirror the practices of the pre-Nicaean Church, where Rome enjoyed a primacy of honour - first among equals (primus inter pares). ...

Archbishop Duncan of the ACNA on the Anglican schism Nov 15th, 2009 by David From the National Post By Charles Lewis, National Post St. Catharines, Ont. Archbishop Robert Duncan rejects the term breakaway to describe the faction of orthodox Anglicans he now leads. He argues, instead, that the more than 700 orthodox Anglican parishes in Canada and the United States...

I'm a new comer to the Magic community which is slightly daunting. I used to play YGO, with a group of close friends but we all quit about a year ago. Just this past weekend my friend says we need a hobby again. Of course YGO was suggested, but all of us agreed so much had probably changed that it would be just the same if we picked up a new hobby. We end up buying some starter decks and a ...

Hahahaa, yeeaah. Well, I've been gone for a long time. How unfortunate. I should probably get the next post up, but I doubt it will come anytime soon. Maybe tomorrow. Or maybe next weekend. Who knows?

INTRODUCTION Even after almost 3 years, there is still deep schism in Chargerland that can be divided between the pre-'06ers and the post-'06ers. It's the difference between 14-2 vs 8-8 (or 0-2 vs 3-2). It's the difference between 27-year old LT vs 30-year old LT. It's the difference between Marty vs Norv. Heck, you can even throw in Brees vs Rivers for good measure. The questions to ...

Edited on Tue Nov-24-09 06:39 AM by ck4829 Four conservative organizations blasted the latest effort to promote zygote civil rights through a 2010 Nevada state ballot measure setting up yet another schism between the local and national anti-choice movements. In a statement that could only charitably be summed up as "We've got things under control here. Butt out." ...

What about Tsar Nicholas II-era Russia? Rasputin was shown in one of The Truth glyphs , it was a period of massive geopolitical change, and would give an interesting venue to explain the East-West Schism, splitting the Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic Churches. Throw in Nikola Tesla , and a trip to Paris (So I can do a Leap of Faith off...

"Two words, suh-words" was an imitation of Philoctetes (or Phil) from Disney's Hercules. Cookie, please. Getting a tier list finalized is futile. Why would I say that? Any argument anyone tries to make will involve assumptions, and every assumption is false frequently enough to be significant. Example: Sain/Kent are generally assumed to be level 8 coming out of S-ranked LHM. However, it's ...

I definitely agree that Rebecca beats Rath under gross system. Rebecca won't level much but she'll still level way past rath by the time we get him. I don't get this exp contribution thing either, Rebecca contributed to a lot of exp from coming to lv1 already if she's levelled past Rath, and Rath can't counter unless he loses just about all of the help he can bring to the exp rank.
