I used a 1/8 then 9/64 bit already and the rivets dont wanna come out of my pipe. Im drilling into my yoshi trc and ive already read the other threads on it but none of them tell you how the rivet actually comes out after you drill through them. Do i just need to use a bigger bit until the rivet comes loose or am I missing something very simple? This is my first time working with rivets btw. ...

There's a piece of trim under and in front of the rear wheel, where it's not being held on one side so it's flapping away. Looks like I lost the two rivets holding this piece on both sides and on one side, there's a screw I believe that holds the other plastic piece to the bottom body piece. Anybody have any idea what the part number is for the rivet? Buddy mentioned it might be N 038 ...

I need some of the rivets for the wheel well. Any idea where I can pick them up, short of the stealership's ridiculous prices? Also, anyone happen to have a belly pan? Didn't realize mine was in such horrible condition. Don't feel like paying the stealership $200+ for a piece of plastic.

I need some Oops help. I read about Oops rivets. I assume we are talking about 1097 rivets. Is a number 4 1097 rivet a rivet with a .125 dia. shaft and a number 3 head? Additionally is there a Oops universal rivet? I have one hole that receives a universal rivet that I have enlarged from number 4 to 5. I thought I was going to use a universal rivet with a number 5 shaft and a number 4 head, ...

I need to buy some replacement rivets - at least 2 different sizes. What are the best local (i.e. Waterloo Region) or Ontario sources? I've read many postings about US sources but I don't have any plans to cross the border before spring and I don't mind dropping by a shop here in Ontario and looking around. No sense of urgency on this but I don't want to wait until spring in case it ...

In my 87 Cherokee (Laredo) I had the drivers side electric window motor go out a couple years back. So I replaced it with one from a junkyard and replaced the rivets in the door with bolts. Now, it is out again. And Im wondering if There is a source (maybe other than the dealer) that I can buy a drivers side window motor that will last me longer than the last one.

Hey Guys have a quick one for you The Differential in my RA23 is leaking at the seal from the diff to the drum. Theres four bolts or rivets that hold the inner drum to the diff and its leaking from under there. This exact same leak was the reason my previous diff ran dry and blew up. How do i go about fixing it? For now ive just been topping the diff up but its becoming worse. ...

Jeg's has this cold air induction system for sale, but with some sheet metal, pop rivets, form strips and duct work one could fabricate one a lot cheaper. http://www.jegs.com/p/Spectre/Spectre-Low-...20341 2/10002/-1 Is the claim valid? "For every 10 degree drop in air temperature there is a 1-1-1/2 increase in HP. So air going through the radiator is heated to 180-200 degrees (the ...

So, the V35B I thought I had bought turned out to have missing rivets and bondo when the floor boards were removed, even though it was repaired by a FAA repair station... in '77. But in the search, I've learned a LOT. Decided I want the increased capabilities of an A36. I've also decided I don't want ANY damage history. And, yes, I know it can be fixed correctly, but it takes so much time to ...

Ok so I did it, finally got the baffle out and it sounds 100 times better. That was probably one of the most annoying ass jobs I've ever done. I have the titanium can and ended up scuffing it up pretty well becuase the end cap was so fucking tight!!!!!!!!! But after I put it all back together, I use a scotch brite pad and now it looks like brushed aluminum, actually looks better than before to...
