I have over the past 3 hours had 4 glasses of grapefruit juice and taken a tagamet. I weigh a bit under 220(lbs) and I am hoping to take my first adventure in to the third plateau (previously I have only done high 2nd plateau doses). I know to use the DXM calculator and search function, however, because I am not sure how many mg/kg are neccesary for the 3rd plateau if I have also used ...

I have hit a plateau in my diet. I started an 1,800 calorie diet on the 12th of November and I have been losing a pound a week. However, yesterday, I weighed in and it toggled between 143 and 144 pounds. I was not a solid 143. Should I do a refeed by shooting up the amount of calories for 1 day? Or any suggestions? I am currently getting 1,800 calories, 55% protein, 30-33% carb, and 15-17% ...

( How long do you usually go without losing weight before you start one? I haven't lost like, any weight in over a month already, but I also have a fill coming up in a couple weeks. And we can do the same plateau busters as RNYers right? Because that's the only ones I've found haha. Thanks! ,)

I'm on week 4. Lost 5lbs initially (probably water) and I've stayed steady at ~240lbs since. Definitely have gained muscle, but shouldn't there be a plateau for muscle gains on Plan A due to the little insulin produced on A? You're never as anabolic as you could be on A. Eventually my muscle gains should taper off and fat loss is larger than muscle gain, therefore overall weight decreases, ...

( Hey, everyone! I decided I'm gonna do the plateau buster diet again. Yep, I've had a lot of fun since Thanksgiving, but it's time to buckle down and get back to business! I've done the PB diet before, and it worked great for me... I lost 4 pounds in 10 days. I do the version where you can have fruit and veggies. \(I tend to go off track when I don't have variety.\) Here's the one...

( I've actually been avoiding the boards for over a week now, as I've been feeling like a failure lately. I'm happy with my 50 lbs. lost thus far, however I think I've hit my first plateau. I've been stuck at 260 for about 10 days now, and I'm frustrated. I went to my TOPS meeting on Wednesday night and actually GAINED 3 effen, lousy lbs. THAT sucked, big time, considering I've ...

Well, it seems I have done it this time! Went too big pre season and landed extremely bad. Fractured both of my tibial plateaus and tore my meniscus. I have been in a wheelie chair for about a month and 2 weeks...watching ski porn, healing up and praying I can ski this season. Anyone out there ever been in this situation, or can offer some suggestions for healing quicker, or surgery ...
