I'm in the middle of my head gasket replacement and have been looking for a decent local machine shop in the Cleveland area. I called Koala Motorsports and he mentioned he ships his machine work out to Memphis Motorsports in TN. Just wanted to see if there are any preferred local machine shops before I just pick a random shop.

Completely off topic, but I figure I wuold ask. At work we have printers with security tabs. They were specially made for the printers. Just a small piece of steel that has been bent and stamped. Anyway, we need about 20 of these things... Just trying to track someoen down that can make them. * Registered users of ...

Doing a few shots for work for our new website. These are meant to show some machine shop capability but keeping very vague about our parts. Of these first two, which one do you like more and why. Same shot, crop and setup. Different light and f-stop 1. 2. These two are in the machine and are just cool. 1. 2.

I have a 1996 Jetta Trek. It sounds like a train when driving. I changed both cv axles, but still makes noise. I figured it has to be the wheel bearing (correct me if i'm wrong). I've never replaced a wheel bearing before, I know I can take the old one with a hammer but to put in the new one, would i need a machine shop? or is their a way for me to do it? PLEASE HELP

Dropped off the two motors yesterday. Block is being Magnafluxed, decked, balanced and bored. Dropped of my old block and the new one. Between the two he should be able to make one SOLID short block. If you have forgotten this is what happened to my original build. http://www.starquest...ic&fromsearch=1 He said at best he will build the new block, at worst he will sleave my old block...

I'd like to have material added to my triple like in the picture. But instead of tapping it there, I'd like some sort of custom bracket to come out toward the front of the bike to bolt up the stock cluster. Any suggestions?

Hi Guys, After successfully doing a head gasket overhaul I run into this problem and need your advice to handle the situation. After installation and firing up the car everything seemed fine. I followed the instructions to the letter from the Bentley manual and the Pelican Parts related articles. It fired up right away and seems to be running great. Unfortunately I ...

Re: Ceiling for my machine shop meyer, if ya don't need the 14', drop it down as much as you can stand, this will cut down on the space ya gotta heat. if your going with the metal, you could span the 40' with 2 by 4's on 4' centers, tied to the trusses with wire(like they would do with a drop ceiling). i have done this and it works ...

what do you mean your car sounds like a train? wheel bearings usually make a whining noise when they go bad. if you mean a clunking type of train noise, then I doubt its the bearing.
