This weekend was the big New Orleans Ferrari meet, so I thought I'd share some pictures from the track day at No Problem Raceway. There is one Exige S in there, to make it on-topic. Of course, theres also two enzos, a carrera GT, an F40, and a maserati MC12 (one of 5 in the US). ENJOY. EDIT: well my pics aren't working, so here's a link to a friend's photos. He's a better photographer ...

I am going to New Orleans with my husband and friends for New Years and the Sugar Bowl. Everyone I talk to keeps telling me to make sure I wear shoes I expect to get ruined. I have been to New Orleans before (although probably 5 years ago), and I do not remember the streets being that dirty. Are people just exaggerating, or are the streets so dirty that I will need throw away shoes ...

Looking for pools, nice walks, and rooms that would be fun for 2 little boys (they will be 4 and almost 6) who LOVED The Princess and the Frog. Any ideas?

My boyfriend and I will be in the Quarter for New Years and he needs to have most of his long hair cut off - can someone recommend a cool alternative/rocker type salon in the French Quarter or Frenchmen St area (no rental car this time) where he can run in and have it chopped off when we get into town on Wednesday? Thanks in advance and have a happy New Year's!

Haven't stayed there in a while. For folks who have stayed there recently what is your favorite room and your favorite building? Good/bad/ugly appreciated. Thanks, agnes!

Similar to Julie's comment about buses above, when we stayed at FQ we rode on the buses with many POR folks who then walked back to their resort from FQ. Seems that you can't go wrong with these two resorts!!!

Brian, yes, the balcony for the 2 room suite is completely yours, fronting Bourbon. There was some iron-ish furniture (table and chairs) out there for lounging. I have amazing memories of watching some incredible sunsets, with incredible wine...you get the picture! And, it's HUGE. Definately room to have a get together up there. Regarding the suite itself, the main bedroom is huge. It is...

Ruined shoes? i've been going to the French Quarter for years and have never had any shoes ruined. I always wear comfortable sneakers and have never had an issue.

If you want to use the Causeway bus, you'll require two transfers to get to the Quarter. I would HIGHLY advise cabbing it instead, particularly if you are returning in the evening. If you have to use the bus, you'd take the Causeway bus to Veterans Blvd., then transfer to the Vets line. Then you transfer to the Canal St. streetcar at the Canal Blvd. turnaround by the cemetaries. The ...
