Is anyone having this problem? My husband has to write down his last location and then put it in when he goes back to his book. I have one also, but haven't used it as much; mine always finds the previous location.

How to colleges know that you are a first generation student? My friend's parents were not educated in the US at all, however, they went to high school only in China. How do colleges confirm the accuracy of your parents' education level? Do they just take your word for it?

I am a first generation college student who will be applying to MIT. How much will this help my admission chances? I come from a family with a low income, but I know that MIT is need-blind, however, will MIT know I have a low income if they see I am first generation? Also, I am Asian. (Hurts my chances already!!) Will being a first generation student make a difference?

Comment: It is my understanding from sociology classes in school that most wealthy people got their money from inheritance. However, I keep seeing these "80% of millionaires are first generation" statistics used without reference, and when I try to find a source, the only people using them are people trying to sell a product about how to become wealthy.

Working on the website right now. The Rear Lo Pro Lightbar is different generation to generation. ^^Correct. Pease remember that the people reading your application are not brains in a jar. Bill Gates' kid might get an admissions boost for one of several reasons (celebrity parent, potential developmental admit). But no admissions office would give him/her a boost because Dad didn't complete college.

I think it is easier to bookmark your location manually than to write it down. Alt+B sets it and when he comes back to that page, then Alt+B unmarks it. When finding the bookmark go to his notes and find the bookmark. Also try turning on the whispernet for a while, apparently something on the other end gets lost sometimes.
