Wow, what a fright! Katie screaming horrifically in the dark and Micha being thrown at the camera - that moment was probably the strangest and scariest thing i've ever seen. It was just so unnatural and unexpected - it gives me the chills everytime I see it. Though I felt some of the impact was lost by showing Katie possessed at the end - the film lost a bit of its realism. How did everyone...

In the final scene were Ofelia stands in front of her mother and father, I find a recemblance to the legendary SNES rpg Chrono Trigger. That is, to the part were Chrono is up for trial in 600 A.D. Did anyone else viewing this film have the wind pulling on the flag at the end make an impression on them? It seemed that Deakins emphasized the vivid colors of the flag post-production and something about it with the coming onslaught of the tornado really left a mark on me. Felt like the coming storm of '68.

Why did they cut off Rachelle Lefevre's final scene from the movie. The scene where she's driving off with that human chick, and ends up biting her. it was suppose to set it up for Eclispe. But instead we got that stupid Edward scene, "Marry me, Bella"....Did they cut off her scene, becuz she's not coming back. I mean wow, what a low blow.

Have you shot your final scene yet? Hi again Jorge, I was wondering a few things about your experience on Lost as it wraps up: 1. Have you shot your final scene yet? (from either a narrative or production standpoint) 2. Have any emotions about this chapter in your life coming to a close really sunk in yet? 3. Do you have ...

Woa, that's shocking writing!! If it was true I think I will indeed be crying in the last scene - so much crappy dialogue, so little time. I mean, if the last line doesn't scream into your *beep* ear "FAAAAKKKEEE!!!" I don't know what will.

Regarding the flag, I wonder if they wanted to make a commentary about the current state of affairs in the USA as well, not just in 1970. That the wrath of god is upon us.

RecycledArt once suggested the film would have been improved had it been structured so that it ended around the time of the line "I should have killed you back in Philly." Not only would that have made more of the central enigma [interest vanishes when it does], but it would also have spared us William Hurt's hideous, stereotypical gangster schtick. Sam x, tinkety-tonk, old ...
