Let me describe the problem in detail. I open up a sound file, copy a selection from it to the clipboard and then close it. Then I paste the selection to a new sound file (same settings) and attempt to apply the Stereo Imagery -> Center Channel Extractor VST plugin to my sound. And then Audition (3.0.1) crashes. It actually doesn't seem to have crashed but as soon as I press the OK button on ...

Can i take the live and neutral from the light and run it straight to the extractor fan? I just want the fan to turn on with the light. Must i have an isolator switch for the system to work? Installing an isolator is extremely inconvenient due to my circumstances. To make things more complicated the fan is a timer model so has a switched live connection. Can i use the same live from the ...

I finally changed the recoil spring (after about 2,700 rounds) on my Gold Combat II, and during this time I was able to remove the firing pin retaining plate, firing pin and spring, and extractor for cleaning. The extractor of course had lots of fouling all over it, but the pistol has never had extraction or feeding issues of any kind since the very first range trip (a couple FTRBs). I ...

I recently had some problems with the extractor loosing tension on my TRS. After getting some direction on how to address the problem I ordered a tool and gauge to set and check the tension. When I checked the tension on my TRS it was about 12 oz and I adjusted it to about 28 oz, braved the -5F temp and took it out and fired off a 100 rounds without a single failure. I had about 2,500 ...

So I bought this broken bolt extraction kit made by alden called the Drill-Out Extractor. I ordered the 1/2 inch kit and they gave me a 3/8 inch instead. Now I am not all too sure how this thing works so I was wondering if this size would work on a 1/2 inch bolt.

I've already found out that a spiral screw extractor is not backing out a snapped-off brass 10x32 screw. Would a straight screw extractor work/. Available sizes seem to start at .250 and up, while the 10x13 is roughly .156 Anyone make a straight screw extractor for #10 screws?

Well, I thought I had this problem taken care of a few months ago but apparently it's come back or was never quite corrected the way it should have been. inital problem: Extractor way too loose (erratic ejection, slipped out of rear of slide upon disassembly, very difficcult to reassemble firing pin plate to slide) Service performed: Colt "adjusted" (Bent?) extractor (along with some...

So aFTEr a few years I had some FTE problems with my Springfield 1911. At first it started slow with a FTE every few mags. Then, it got to the point where there was a FTE after every other mag. I talked around, listened to a few people, and then after shooting at the range I talked to in-shop smith who happened to specialize in 1911's. He took it apart, looked at it for a second, and then took ...
