Do any of you subscribe to a magazine? If so which one & why would you recommend it? I keep looking at different ones and am not sure if they are worth the money but like to keep up to date. I work in a reception class. Thanks

I bought Arnolds encyclopedia the other day, it was dirt cheap, and was flipping through and he mentions that he used to powerlift. looking up his records online was pretty impressive, I know there's a thread the real arnold workouts but is there any actual stuff from the man himself about what he did in those early days?

Any advices? I have to teach from January some Year 1 and Year 2 classes but apart from the fact that I only just know what these children look like (ie all the same ;) I honestly need some resources to add to the wish list. Was thinking of nice children songs to sing with a CD. Also, very helpful would be a simple musical play for this age group to stage later this year. Thanks so ...

There are a lot more options for high school than for grammar (though there are many of those but unfortunately if you can't afford a good zone it is pretty limited). The real problem is middle school - though it may be getting better.

I recently rediscovered Bowies early Albums Images and The World Of David Bowie which feature tracks from the pre Space Oddity, Deram label days of the late 60s. I'm not a massive Bowie fan but I was really quite blown away by some of the tracks from this period. To those used to Bowie the glam rock star or Bowie the superstar of today, these tracks present a very different musician ...

Does anyone know the status of these titles? I have been looking for the new Initial D books for some time. On Amazon.com, Volume 34 was said to be released on April 7th 2009. Volume 35 was said to be released July 6th 2009. I would imagine Volume 36 would have been out now too! I have also been searching for the new GTO: The Early Years Volume 11, which was released May 5th 2009 and ...

I'm just wondering if anyone can recommend any books, CDs, pieces of music or tried and tested ideas that work well in Reception Class as a whole class activity. So far my class have enjoyed acting out Going On A Bear Hunt, hot seating characters from stories we've read and being toys coming alive in a toy shop to the music of the Nutcracker Suite but I am scraping the barrel ...
