Blizz UI: Scrolling combat text, and any add-on that uses the COMBAT_TEXT_UPDATE trigger do not seem to be receiving data for damage dealt in some zones. recently this has started occuring in HoL, Scholozar Basin and CoS. other zones yellow/white damage shows up just fine with the bliz ui: SCT or with a 3rd party. likewise in those zones the yellow/white damage is missing. have re-...

Can someone please explain to me why that even though im topping the meters that someone else maybe a couple slots down does more overall damage then me. And its not by a little, their overall damage is a decent amount more than mine even if both of us were alive the entire fight. Im not complaining about it, im just confused as to why this happens and I want to fix what I may be doing wrong....

I stopped and got some coffee tonight. After buckling up, I picked the coffee up which was on my drivers seat to try and put it in the Ultimate Cupholder on the passenger side flooring and the cup of coffee hit the bottom of my steering wheel. The lid popped off and about 12oz of coffee spilt on my shift boot and into the plastic gap below the Emergency Brake Hand Lever. It went all the way up ...

Quote: FARMERS have never liked wolves. That is why wolves are rare where farmers are common. Fashion, though, is swinging round to the wolf’s point of view in many places where town-dwellers are even more common than farmers and the big, bad wolf is just a fairy tale, rather than a sheep-rustling reality. How much sheep-rustling actually goes on is a moot point—...

So again, I have been clean since early April I am going on 7 months, But I seem to be approaching newfound consequences. Since in 2004 I had a seizure, and keep in mind Im only 28 years old. I didnt go to hospital or nothing, but anyways since I have quit I have had the ambulance come 2 times now, it seems that I am having Grand Mal Seizures. The ER just referred me to see a neurologist, ...

He picked up fare in the ferrybank area after 12am and brought them to kilcohen where he was assaulted and his satellite system required for his office was yanked out of his taxi. After making calls to the Garda in Waterford for assistance, he waited a long time only to find Garda never came. He eventually drove to the station and made his complaint, but it begs the question, just how serious ...

SJ - Months ago I posted that Death was libel as soon as he said that Vey was running a pump and dump company. Any damage done here to the company. I do not know. Any damage done to Vey himself. I would think so. Just because no action against Death taken so far does not mean he is off the hook. I think he can not get off this hook and Vey and the company can bring charges against him any time ...

wonder if anyone else gets this alot in raids: i'll do very well on the "damage done" meters, sometimes beating the 2nd best dps by a percentage point or more. however, they would beat me by far on the "dps" meter (mages especially), ie 7.8k to 6k. everything else is pretty much even; we have similar gear, and no one dies or gets stunned or gets to dps for a longer time. i would think the ...

Yeah, the way various meters calculate DPS isn't very good, let's leave it at that. My advice is not to chase the meters. They're just a tool, they don't tell you the whole story.

I watch what my husband does -- a normal weight guy. His jeans get to tight for his comfort or the numbers on the scale go up and he cuts back on his portions and/or increases his activity level til the numbers go back down and his waistband gets comfy again. So sensible, and so easy for him! So for my excesses last week, well, it was a holiday ...

Well, its good to know I'm not insane. I actually found some more interesting quirks to this bug. I will use Scholozar basin as my example. When I am in Scholozar (any of the middle areas) I cannot see damage dealt (white or yellow) But if I go to the two titan areas (Makers Overlook and Maker's Perch) my white/yellow damage miraculously appears. It almost seems like those zones (...

Recount shoul really just be recoded like popular EQ Parsers. Total Damage / Length of fight = DPS. Basically from the first moment anyone touches the Boss until it's Despawn or Death the timer begins. Then it just tracks total damage, and DPS is merely a calculation of the damage divided by the time passed. If other people are hitting a Boss and you aren't, that should be counting ...

Are we sure that the posting of spam on the Dish Twitter feed was the only damage done? The Dish Twit(wits) often ask subs for their account numbers and other pieces of information... wonder if there is any chance that dish's two web problems are related? And exactly how safe our information is in e*'s hands? (fortunately I follow one of the internet ten commandments - "thou shall not post ...
