When Spock said "get him off my ship" I had no idea he meant to shoot him onto a planet!! This is the 1st time that I've even seen this in Star Trek. Every other time an officer/bad guy is either confined to quarters or put in the brig or some other holding area. Not SHOT OFF OF THE SHIP!!!

In The Brig, Sawyer has the ultimate moment for his character. He has been building to that moment his entire life, and the writers did that scene extremely well. But I feel like he was done an injustice by having that episode as a Locke centric. Anyone else agree?

'Ma'am' remark is campaign fodder in Calif. Full story here During a hearing last June, U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer interrupted Brig. Gen. Michael Walsh of the Army Corps of Engineers in mid-sentence: "Do me a favor?" she said. "Could you say 'senator' instead of 'ma'am?' It's just a thing. ( WASHINGTON – The widely played video clip of U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer reprimanding a general for calling her "ma'am" is the gift that keeps on giving for the two Republicans hoping to challenge her next year. During a hearing last June, Boxer interrupted Brig. Gen. Michael Walsh of the Army Corps of Engineers in mid-sentence: "Do me a favor?" she said. "Could you say 'senator' instead of ...

Instead, he tells The Canadian Press, the troops will be moving out of the relative safety of the bases into Kandahar city and other large towns. It’s the only way, he says, to show Afghans that coalition troops are willing to ...

Incoherent Notes on the continuing crack-up Let's see if we understand this: The president and commanderin-chief has pledged to close the brig at Guantanamo by January 22nd. So what's he going to do with the prisoners there now? Turn them loose? Surely not. Instead, he's going to move the prison, or at least part of it, to a site at Thomson, Ill., on that state's western ...

So, we spend 5billion on the Universal Camo Pattern, yet new PEO Natick cannot find any documentation why it was chosen. "Brig. Gen. Peter Fuller, who took command of PEO Soldier in 2008, said he did not have data to show Army Times to justify the UCP selection in light of its poor performance against the three U.S. patterns in the Natick test." Hmmm, what could we have given to our troops for $...
