You're proving my point. When they wrote these articles Gerhart was leading the nation in RUSHING. At worst he was 2nd or 3rd. And 1st or 2nd in TDs as well. Until November 7, Gerhart had only had ONE game over 134 yards. And he had had only ONE game with more than 2 touchdowns. And Stanford had played ZERO games against nationally hyped opponents.
