Climategate: Berlin Wall moment! Politics Last updated: November 26th, 2009 I?ve just had a great, very sympathetic interview about Climategate on LBC radio (London?s main commercial news and talk station) with Petrie Hosken. I read an article about the Berlin Wall recently where they presented a recent study that shows that a vast number of Americans believe that the Berlin Wall was built by Nazi Germany. Excellent analysis from L410Turbolet. what has to be added is, that East Germany got Billions of Deutschmarks from us in the West, to improve the living conditions of our "brothers and sisters". That was in the form of low or zero interest long term loans, subsidies, receipts from sales in "Intershops" or just by selling their own people who were not happy with the system for about 50-70000...

My husband served in Germany in WWII. We clapped with joy when we heard! I would love to see world peace but this more than likely will not happen in my lifetime.
