I am planning a trip rather blindly to Vietnam. Can you let me know what the "must sees" are in your opinions? I would really love some information on some off the beaten path activities and sights.

( I've found a little boutique store in Wisconsin that makes the best mitts that I have ever put my hands in. These aren't for climbers or people who need a lot of dexterity, but if your winter camping, backpacking, hiking, or what they specifically design these for, dog sledding, then they are wonderful. I have used my Prairie G2 Snowstorm Mitts on windy below 0 days and my hands are perfectly ...

Sponsored Links Recently I've delved back into Halo 3 multiplayer, but I'm quickly reminded of what drove me away in the first place, which was the stagnant matchmaking system that threw the same matches with the same gamestyles over and over again. What I'm really into is really random and whacky matches, like having everyone be invisible with a shotgun or insta-kill ...

If you know of any unusual landmarks in your part of the world, show us what you've got. You can list landmarks that are political or religious in nature, or just landmarks that you find interesting. This is a strange one, it's called Carhenge in Nebraska. It's a replica of Stonehenge, except it's made out of cars. Carhenge

See Cao Son !!! This is really a new destination. I would always suggest this place for those who wish to experience the authentic Vietnam mountain life spirit. There are some good review here: tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g737052-d148649…

( I haven't tried them out yet, but I want to hit up Melanzana sometime. Based in Leadville, CO. I'll be passing through there a couple times this winter so I'm hoping to try their stuff. Maybe I'll just order something and hope for the best. , )

The OP is a little confusing because it mentions Cartagena and Tayrona, which are about as ON the beaten path as you can get. Fully agreed with drinksouthpaw that it's not too difficult to get to Cabo de la Vela, which is definitely off the beaten path, beautiful and safe. I stayed at La Langosta, which is probably one of the cheapest in "town" and it shows...but it wasn't too bad. It's possible ...
