Why is the water texture in my game not so detailed?

I'm playing Age of Mytholgoy Titans expansion on my brand new laptop, but the water texture isn't very detailed like in the screenshots. My water is pretty much a solid blue. I get the occasional waves, seaweed, and fish. But it's not quite as nice looking as in the pictures... at least, as nice as a 6 year old game can look.

Hi, I have a two textures, one as base texture, the other as noise one. I'm trying to use multitexturing for blending between these 2 textures. Can I somehow specify texture coordinates for second texture in manual object? thanks Trigve

No texture (black) 777s up close in MTX 5.2

Hi all Great update on 5.2, but I have noticed a problem with the 777's (I think the 200 models) When far away, the models look fine, but when you get close, the turn black, as if the higher detail LOD models do not have the texture applied. See images below at RJAA. I am running Accel in DX9 mode. This happens with several different airlines.

I'm working on wall hacking, but I can't seem to find the texture for a certain wall that is used a lot in a mapl. I was wondering if there is a way to open maps, say like the map "office" in counter strike source, and go into it directly using Souce SDK to find out what the texture is called so that I can modify the material file.
