My Kindle used to be plenty loud in the text-to-speech. Now I can barely hear it. Any clues as to why? Its not because my Kindle is not charged either.

Anyone know about any text to speech websites (preferably ones that are an actual movie maker site) that will recognise other languages (Spanish at the moment, but will want French as well at some point)? I have tried xtranormal.com, but it doesn't recognise Spanish.... Pity, as it's a great website and would work well for what I want. Vokis probably are not long enough, and I need two ...

We purchased a Nuvi 700 last year on Black Friday. Recently, the speech has disappeared and only the text works. I've tried setting the GPS back to factory settings and turning the speech volume up and down several times. Does anyone have any other suggestions to troubleshoot it? Thank you in advance for any advice. PS- I did try to search on the subject.

Can anyone recommend a good application for dictating notes and converting that speech into text to paste into Word or similar documents? Also, if a separate mic other than the built in one is needed, any suggestions? (I have a 24" iMac 2.4 GHz, running 10.6.2). Thanks, Dan
