Texas Chainsaw Massacre - Topic profile

The Halloween Texas Chainsaw Massacre I've heard a movie is coming out (at least, I read it somewhere on a website); Michael Myers vs Leatherface, called "The Halloween Texas Chainsaw Massacre". Is this just a rumor or is there actually a movie called like this? It would be awesome though, I'm really looking forward a new Halloween-movie.

I agree. The original is a masterpiece, and like you said, as far as remakes go, this one is pretty damn good. The thing about the original is that it's more effective. It's one of those rare cases where a lack of budget actually helped the final product to great (and chilling) effect. The remake had a more Hollywood budget and to be honest, lacked some of the soul of the original, ...

The cut scenes was the meat hook scene and the scene when Leatherface is cutting up Kirk. All work and no fun makes Rest a dull boy.
