Texas Chainsaw Massacre Um, yeah, this was my first topic which I acctually started months ago. It's been mostly complete for a while now, but I've gotten sidetracked, what with school and work and all. So here it is.

I think this is actually a high quality remake and the only good Platinum Dunes film. There are suspensful and scary moments. Of course this flick is not nearly as good as the classic original. What does everyone think of this remake? You know what Ed Gein said about women?

As the title says, you have to tell me which movie do you like more. At the end of the thread, I'll make a list with the best and worst remakes. You can also give me your opinion if you want. Thanks in advice. Original Vs. Remake #1: The Ring (1998/2002) Best: The Ring (2002) (9-7) Original Vs. Remake #2: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974/2003) My pick is The Texas Chainsaw ...

I personally, love it. The acting is flawless, and the scares are real. I just find this as one of the few perfect horror films. Anyone else? *Sorry, this was probably a topic already..but I couldn't find it.

the original hands down... there was not a lick of cannibalism in the remake which was one of the main premises behind the story in general. there were some cool scenes in the remake though like the girl in the van blowing her head off. but the concept of bubba having a skin disease is fucking dumb. the texas chainsaw massacre the beginning was more of a remake than the actual remake was.... quit...
