I am trying to decide what to sprinkle over my turkey tetrazzini this year. The traditional topping is parmesan cheese and almonds or bread crumbs. I was wondering if anyone has any other variations. I thought about cracker crumbs too. I wonder if the sliced almonds along with some cracker crumbs would be a bit too much overkill. I am not concerned about authenticity or tradition, it is just ...

I'm looking at ratherbeswimmin and kittencal's recipes: " Turkey Tetrazzini " " Chicken or Turkey Tetrazzini Casserole " Has anyone every made these it the crock pot? doesn't sound like too much of a stretch but just checking.

My turkey tettra, although a little bit lighter has the traditional mushrooms, scallions, cream sauce, pasta, turkey and the topping, believe it or not way back when I first made this it use a fresh bread crumb rather than the can. I think the panko would be great. I mix it with parm so you get a nice blend of the bread or panko crust with the cheese. The best of both worlds.

Looks good - I usually make this every year after Thanksgiving but think I might try a turky pot pie for a change. But I'm def. keeping this to use and maybe substitute with chicken.

Yeah, I don't even necessarily like Jason and Liz as a couple, but it would have been a change to actually see Jason being a parent and being in a relationship with the mother of his child for a little while. "Chicken Tetrazzini"
