Edited on Fri Nov-27-09 02:26 AM by TwixVoy I was driving home tonight and noticed the fools in tents outside several retailers I drove by. Having worked at Target for several years here are some fun facts about black friday "deals": 1. A good majority of the "deals" are just regular weekly ad prices we had earlier in the year thrown in to the 2-day sale ad. 2. There ...

The first is the Kelty Crestone 1 and the other is the Eureka Spitfire Solo. I found them for around $90 on Amazon. Which do you think is better? Real estate seems to have hit bottom here in California, well, at least the steep plummet has stopped. Last I was hearing about HI, people were in dire straits and living in tents on the beach, even fully employed. Has HI seen more decline? or has it hit a bottom? Any signs of improvement? Anybody proposing ideas to turn it around?

DH and I were driving back after dinner at DS1's house last night at about 8:30 . It was about 43 degrees, raining steady and as I turned a corner which goes past Best Buy, we saw people lined up behind a rope, against the building in tents, chairs, blankets and umbrellas! Best Buy had even been "considerate enuf" to put a "porta potty" at the edge of the building. I could hardly believe my ...

Alright, 2010 will be my first burn, and I've been looking at a lot of different pictures of shade structures to find which one will work best for the amount of stuff I'm planning to bring, etc. One thing I've noticed in a lot of the pictures, is that tents within structures don't seem to be secured. They look like they're just sitting on top of tarps (unless people are actually hammering pieces ...

Hey all, Thought I'd share my experiences with grow tents thus far, in the hopes it'll help somebody out. Although I built grow rooms, I didn't consider a drying space, and my moms had outgrown their allocated space. Tents seemed to be the answer. My first goal was a drying tent. I couldn't handle stinking up the entire house for a whole week each time I harvested. Then I needed a ...
