so we have this awesome taunt going, right? Soldier rips off a grenade and blows himself up. So how many ways are there that allow the Soldier to survive the taunt? so far, it happens when the Medic overheals you, and when you have the Gunboats equipped. Is there any other way to survive the taunt?

The taunt kill Eyelander icon in the top-right isn't really distinguishable from getting a normal sword kill to most people. You don't get any cheers off people as oppose to other kills. Anyone think a different kill icon is in order?

Survive the Grenade Taunt every time without a medic Simply equip the Gunboats. they block 75% of explosive self damage. it DOES WORK with the equalizer taunt.

How to do the equalizer taunt kill while ubered http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1dhCUBH2RU just use Q quickly to do that old bug, you do the taunt kill and the medic can still continue to heal you.

It started in the Pyro update, when they made the Hadouken Taunt Kill. I loved it, we were happy. Then, they added the Heavy Showdown Taunt Kill. We were, again, happy. Everybody was happy. Experiment, place 1 demoman with a scotish resistance in front of a demoman equiped with a grenade launcher... Make them taunt... Make screenshot and say you were first

I know it's mostly my fault for taunting when I have the Equalizer out, but I'm still not quite used to not using a shovel (which has what is possibly my #1 favorite taunt). So I'm suggesting that, since the equalizer taunt can kill it's user, a way for the user to opt not to complete it after it starts. Epic gunboats taunt kill suggestion When you press 2, you should holster your weapons and the quick loadout menu will select slot 2. Should work with targe too. There are quite a few benefits to using the bottle over the Eyelander sometimes; you start with 25 more health points, you gain random crits, a more humourous taunt, and you don't feel the constant need to decapitate people. The bottle also looks funnier coupled with the Targe, simply because it is so unusual to weild a bottle and a shield. Then again, you lose the benefits of decapitating ...
