Hi, I recently setup a dual display setup with windows 7 and was wondering is there any way to get the taskbar to appear on both? Looked online for a solution and read about ultramon but people say it doesnt fit well with win 7. Anyone running multiple monitors with an extended taskbar could you please let me know what you are using and a screenshot would be helpful as well. Thanks...

Why is it whenever I click any of the play controls in VLC while in fullscreen mode the Windows 7 Taskbar pops up and gets in the way? I searched around and have tried messing with the compatability settings for VLC and nothing is working. Is this problem going to be fixed soon?

From day one there has been this large extra taskbar thingy at the top of my desktop.  It disappeared  without explanation.  In researching this, it appears this may not be part of Windows 7 at all, but something Dell installs?  It was larger then the real taksbar at the bottom of the screen, and had several basic icons like email, movie maker,  microphone icon, etc. I assume everyone with a ...

i have tried everything to get the taskbar to hold the minimized links.  i dont care if they cascade over one, but they keep taking over the first stop and wiping out my first tab.  usually the one that started my online browsing.    c an anyone tell me what to do to stop that from happening?   or is microsoft unable to correct it?   an answer either way would be much appreciated.  thank you.

My taskbar autohide behaves in an erratic pattern.  When I have an alert, it autohides after resolving the alert, but other times it refuses to go away, even if I, once again, open the properties, uncheck autohide, recheck autohide, then click 'apply' and/or 'OK'. As I type this, the taskbar stubbornly remains! 1 person needs an answer I do too
