Guys I am newbie for Arc serv solutions and about to configure a VTL with data dedup solution with Arc serv. My question is that if i do backup from Arc Serv ( V12 on windows 2003) to a VTL ( with hardware dedup ), will Arc serv have the capability to move the data from VTL to physical tape library? Another problem is that VTL emulates LTO-2 tape drives while physical library have LTO-3 tape...

well first off as an instructor lets start with the name. It is ARCserve. Again as an instructor, which means you will be instructing others it really would be a good idea to read the documentation, starting with Staging. #2 - no problem, ARCserve can handle it.
