07 F650GS Question: What is the likely fix when bike is running but most of the dash display is not? I left my bike on and it drained the battery. I recharged using a trickle charger. Bike runs, but most of my display is not working. My odometer/speedometer/tachometer is not working and my gas light is on eventhough the tank is full. All other displays work (turnsignal, headlight, abs). Rode...

I have a tachometer problem on a 2000 Explorer XLT, V6 SOHC. It works intermittently. Sometimes the needle sits at zero, and then all of a sudden it jumps and reads the RPM for a few minutes, before going back to zero. I dont think its a sensor problem because I have a Scan Gauge permanently attached to the OBD port, and the Scan Gauge continuously displays engine RPM. I would like to take ...

Howdy, Yesterday while driving at highway speeds, my speedometer and tachometer stopped working. The engine did not stop. As a matter of fact I was able to accelerate. This morning, the car started okay. But about 5 minutes later, the tach and speedo started bouncing. Please keep in mind that the car was still sitting in the driveway. Shortly after that(to be read a minute or less), the ...

Some people say go off of wires behind the cluster, some say go to the distributor, and some say to go to the fuse box? Also, someone said you have to get a tach that reads 2 cylinders because of the Rio's dual coil pack?

I got to looking more closely at the tachometer on my LR3 and I cannot see a "red line" mark. Am I blind or are red lines not marked on tachometers, (at least LR3 tachs), any longer? Also does anyone know what rpm would be considered to be the red line? I have a 2005 LR3 HSE with the 4.4 V8 and am routinely downshifting using the command shift function as an aid to braking - or more ...

I have a 96 Town and Country. Sometimes the gauges don't work. (Tachometer and Speedometer) They stay at zero. Sometimes, I can restart the engine and they will come back. This gets annoying and I really don't have a lot of time or daylight to troubleshoot. Any thoughts? Thanks, Bob
