My thyroid was completely removed so why are my tsh Pituitary and tsh Tsh levels being tested. My doctor lowered my dose ( armour Armour thyroid thyroid) because my tsh Pituitary and tsh Tsh was .05 (0.34 - 4.82). My FT4 was 1.19 ( 0.45-1.63). They did not test FT3. Isn't my FT4 reading more important? I have no thyroid gland so what is the TSH Pituitary...

I had my thyroid checked and my TSH Pituitary and tsh Tsh came back at 26.490. My Dr. does not even know what that means. he has never seen anything like that. The ratio is 0.450-4.500. it could be a computer glitch or lab error, but just wondering if anybody else has had this experience??? thanks.

I had TSH done twice at 9weeks and 11 weeks. At Nine weeks,my result was 0.7. My RE said that is fine. then i graduated from RE to OB, at 11 weeks, the bloodwork came back as 0.3. Dr. took TSH Pituitary and tsh Tsh blood work 3 months ago and it was 26. He suggested I take Lipothyroxine. I opted to take herbals to incresase thyroid function.
