I am getting a new laptop at some point in the next month or 2. It's a dv7-3060us, if that means anything to anyone. My sister has one, and she thinks they work great. They come with Windows 7, which is hard to get used to but otherwise awesome. My only problem is that my mom thinks that she has complete access to anything we own, including laptops, without giving warnings or asking us....

(tl;dr go to the last paragraph) Just a bit of background for the situation at hand: My step mom is an closet alcoholic, my aunt likes to drink and get argumentative while being a sex crazed man eater. We go out to dinner. I am not one for really fancy things... I feel out of my element... so what does my step mom do? Takes me to a five star restaurant whose name I can't even pronounce... In a ...

Chapter 1: Sequels are rehashed DLC on discs Lately, game have gotten way too short and easy. You should never be able to beat a Call of Duty game on Veteran in 4 hours, I don't care if your story dictates the length of your game, Infinity Ward! You should also never beat a Halo game in 7 hours on Veteran. To be fair, the game was merely an expansion, so I'm cutting a little slack for it. (...

Let's face it. Mortal Kombat used to have the best storyline out of any fighting game franchise. The characters actually had backgrounds and motives and there was at least an attempt to flesh out the MK universe's backstory. But I feel that although the overall story has had it's twists and been fleshed out in the recent installments (Deadly Alliance thru Armageddon), the individual ...

First off, the game will use your save files of Origin to dictate what Ferelden's situation is like after 30 years, which this sequel will take place. It will take place (or at least start) in Orlais, however, not in Ferelden, but you can of course go there as the game progresses. The game takes place 30 years after Origins, because after 30 years would be about the time the surviving Grey Warden...

I was not trying to hide my claim, I knew that a mass claim was inevitable and was willing to post my claim whenever, I just wanted a status update before doing anything.

Posted by: LUNATICBRAND0N Multiplayer can offer years of fun, no campaign no matter how great can do that. Multiplayer is the new priority. Even if a campaign offers several hundred hours of gameplay, like GTA: San Andreas did for me, it still can't compare to what a good multiplayer game can give you in terms of replay value. I can honestly tell you that I have logged more hour trying to ...

Q u o t e: TLDR = Too long, didn't read. You'll usually see it either as a snarky response to a very long post, or at the top of a long post, where the poster will sometimes add a condensed version of their message. It's also used at the beginning of TOC fights. Pretty sure their introductions were only half interesting the first time.

trezoid there is one way of doing it, but it won't block all settings. Create a new account, and make it an administrator, then put a password on it. make your account a normal user, and then only use the normal user account. when you want to change settings (or install programs, or manage to get a virus) it will pop up a password prompt, asking for the password of the admin account. ...
