Hey guys, great to be new forum member. Have built lots of flyrods, but never with a TFO professional blank. Just a reality check. Am I to understand that this blank is fitting together properly even though there is a 1/2 inch or more gray section of unfinished black matte finish between each of the sections? The unfinished areas are on all male sections, but I've got an unfinished 1/4 ...

Can anyone explain the approx. 1/2 inch gap between the sections of the TFO Professional series rod? It's like that everywhere I've seen. I have heard or seen somewhere that it's normal. It's just that my OCD kicks in when I see it and can't seem to pull the trigger on this purchase. Sapper in the Skies

I'm sorry if this has been covered before, but are the tritium/fiber optic inserts in the TruGlo TFO sights end user replaceable? I have a slightly dim set from a gun I took in trade, and was thinking about replacing them with new vials.

I have a rod I'd like to either sell or trade. TFO Professional Series -9' 5wt 4 Peice Rod -TFO Fabric Covered Rod Tube -No reel included but I'll include weight forward 5wt Orvis Wonderline in yellow with the rod. I purchased the rod in 2008 and feel that it's too large and would like something else since my fishing style and ability has changed. I'm looking for something like an 8'-8'6" 4wt...

I'm in the market for a new 9 foot 5 wt. rod that has more backbone than the 4 wt. 7 1/2 footer I have now. I plan to fish tandem rigs with shot and streamers with it. I don't have much $ Saw the TFO 9 ft. 5 wt. 2 pc rod and it felt nice. It was only $100. Any experience with this rod or others like it? Looking for some advice Thanks all! All the best - Tight lines ...

for sale, a used but good condition temple fork outfitters 6'9", 2 piece SG "limited edition" 5/6 wt. fiberglass fly rod. The cork is soiled, the reel seat and butt of the reel seat have a few scratches and there are some very light scratches near the rod label that you have to look hard to see, which my camera (or my poor skills) did not pick up. they are not currently making these. this is a...

The title says it all. My friend got me freaking hooked to Saltwater fly fishing and I hate him for it. So now I am in the market for a rod in the 250-350 price range. As well as a good balanced reel to go with it! So the Pros and Cons of each please and be brutally honest.

I've never even picked a 1wt up. I was thinking about that for tiny dries and nymphs or a 6wt. for streamer fishing to build in the class. Does anyone have any thoughts? One concern I have is the casting of the 1wt. 6'9" rod. Both would be TFO finesse blanks.

HI all..........I just found this site.... LOTS of really good information. >>>>>>>>> I have a 2WT TFO 8' pro series rod with a Battenkill reel. I am using a SA / WF 2 F line now and can reach 50' to 60' (if the wind is not too bad). A friend of mine thinks I should be using a DT fly line instead. I fish mostly large lakes and ponds, some with very clear water. Can a DT line give me ...

I just got my first GLOck 19 about 2 weeks ago and I love it first of all. I got some TRU-GLO TFO Sights for it and I'm thinking about ordering this Titanium Safety Plunger. Just wanting to see if anyone else has installed this item and if it is worth it? I would really appreciate any information. Thanks!

Been using mine for 3 years now on my duty gun and I love them. the front tube has gotten loose on mine, but a little super glue (key word LITTLE) fixed it right up. my scores on re quals went up, I think they are great sights. As to people droping them and the sights going dim... I have done that to at least a couple sets of trijicons, no night sight is immune to that sort of handling. With...
