Ok so the Burb didn't pass emissions and can rejet the carb to get it to work however was offered a good trade for a 454 TBI. 350 TBI vs LS1 I know this may sound pretty dumb, but wwhich one should I install in my 55? The tbi has actually been converted to carberated with typicall upgrade, cam,manifold, 4barrel double pump. I just really dont feel like dealing with the whole wiring madness. Am i way wrong for even posting this? Help me please.

My neighbor has a 88 (I think) Tbi 4cyl S10 manual and he is having problems with getting it started, He has replaced the fuel pump and the fuel injector and still no gas spray into bowl (now). We installed the new injector today and when he started it, i noticed the injector was working but after a few minutes it quit. Hello everyone, I had TBI chasing me for a debt of £860 from way back so i sent them a request for cca letter, the 30 day limit expired on the 5th march 2009, today 19th nov I received a letter from them outlining the amount I owe , the account number etc but no cca! OK just got my head on the block and ready to fire up. BUT two questions. One- the cam rotates just fine assembled. the cam in it is a 2.5 TBI which has more retard ground in it that the 2.2 tbi. I found a good deal on a 350 TBI out of a 93 truck with a whipple supercharger, was thinking about dropping it into the 83 i just bought. The trans will be a 4l60E probably. This motor should put out just over 300 ponies right? What else should i take from 93 truck to help out with the motor swap?

96+ Engine in First Gen I'm looking into replacing the TBI 4.3 in my 91 Sonoma. I know my TBI manifold wnt work on the 96-Up heads but I'd like to have a newer model engine, new the better. Here's the question: Can I just use a Edelbrock 2114 Intake with a TBI Adapter plate and my distributor. And will my style accessories bolt to the 96+ block

on my 87 blazer tbi 350 the passenger side exhaust manifold was about cracked in half. so i went to the junk yard and picked this one up was the only one i could find close to my year since 88 they changed it and the older style dont work. is this manifold suppose to have some sort of donut gasket the guy at the junkyard said i probaly dont but i dont trust what they say haha. heres some pics
