Anyone know of a freeware decent site that might have a boot disk for the system admin password??  Running Win XP Pro at the moment.  Could be even better if I could find one that is also compatible with Vista as well, for my laptop...  I use to have one for NT, but can't seem to locate it to even try it on XP.  Thanks for any suggestions!!

Hi Bruce, Mainframe uses TMON to monitor queues between our app and the billing app. So they are tyring to send a message to the admin queue in hopes of getting a response. I was playing with the MCA user id parimiter on the receiver channel and any time I add an ID other then mqm or blank, their sender goes into retry when attemting to do a put. I've asked the sys admin to add ...

Are you looking for a fully managed VPS (ie you just use it, but system admin tasks like php upgrades, troubleshooting, OS patching etc. are performed by your provider), or an unmanaged VPS where you do all of these things yourself with root SSH? There are different recommendations depending on which type of service you're looking for... Most of the ones listed above are of the unmanaged type,...

The paging is not Sybase's fault on AIX - but rather how memory is managed there between applications and file system management and it initializes to be more beneficial to file systems - it's up to the Unix admin to set the minperm/maxperm/maxclient to fix it. But that's speculation. Ok - missed the one note - he did say OPEN CURSOR. That will be based on the SELECT that he cursor is ...
