Im going to be in Colorado fairly soon and i was curious if i needed to order some rigs online ahead of time and have them delivered or if getting syringes in Colorado is not a big deal? In texas, its not illegal for them to sell them to any person, however many pharmacies have their own policies concerning the sale of rigs to people without prescriptions, and often times it just comes down ...

My elderly father has a feeding tube and I am wondering about the best ways to clean/sanitize the plastic syringes used to hold the liquified food. I have a concern with using boiling water because I have read that hot and cold water extremes make plastic materials release PCBs. -- Will

I am due in a few weeks and my mother-in-law will be watching Cooper while I am in labor so I am thinking of pre-filling the lantus syringe for her. We do 2.25 u of lantus and it can get tricky dosing that amount since there isn't a .25 line for her to do. I was also thinking of maybe prefilling some humalog ones as well since I know what his exact meals will be that whole day starting ...

I swear, I've been to a good 10 different pharmacies over the past day or two trying to buy 28G1/2 1cc insulin syringes. Every time I try to buy them, they ask for proof that I am diabetic or a prescription. I thought that California was one of the states where they had to sell you syringes without a prescription?

Hi All, I have a question about the need for syringes. My son is leaving for college for the first his freshman year. I am not too worried about him managing his d because he's not let me in that area of his life for some time. (grrr, but that's another story - but I will say that he has very good A1Cs) He is a pump wearer and I've packed his supplies for the semester, etc ...

Hi Everyone. Thanks for your advice. Well, he's off. My hub and I brought him today. A bit of a trip down memory lane as he's at my al-mamater (I have NO idea how to really spell that). He did try to rush us out - so we went to lunch, parked back in the parking lot, hugged, (I cried - a little) and he walked to the dorm and we walked campus to "explore." Anyway, I did decide to ...
