As the topic saids any way would help even if it goes against the ban list. I'm using a plant based deck and although I really lose I thought I could add some syncros for the hell of it. I'd like to own some of the harder duelist with duel stardust dragon of the like.

Does anyone have a good source for new syncros? I'm about to do some syncro replacing here in the near future and wouldn't mind saving a few bucks here and there if I can. Thanks!

Anybody have an input on grippy flats? I am looking into either the Tioga Spyders or Syncros Mentals. Both seem to be durable from what I can tell, and both seem to have good pin options. Haven't really seen any reviews on the Spyders but have heard good things about other Tioga products. I am just sick of slipping off pedals, and don't always want to clip in (I actually have clip-...

Syncros Ti square taper English threaded bottom bracket w/113 mm spindle for sale. It's the model with double row drive side bearing. It was one of a bunch of parts acquired recently, and I have no use for it. It was obviously mounted in the past, but appears to be in very good shape, really smooth bearings and good threads on the cups, but it's lacking the drive side (left hand threaded) ...

it it normal for there to be a whine type of noise which sounds like its coming from the syncros when its trying to catch up with the car? i can produce this sound when revving the car high in first gear and then slowly letting the car slow down by itslef in first gear.

I desperately need some new grips, the ones I've got on at the moment are worn and in wet weather they become loose and start to slip off . Been doing some browsing on the internet and have come across the Syncros 4 Bolt Locking Grips, has anyone any experience with these? If so it would be much appreciated if you could let me know what you think, or point me in the direction of some ...

When it is cold out and I first start driving my car second gear will grind slightly. But after everything is nice and warm second gear slides right in with no problem. I was thinking it my be the syncros going. Any ideas? The car is a 01.5

anyone know if the Si suffers from actual tranny probs? im having a hard time getting her in 3rd. i wanna say the syncros are a bit messed up or sumthing. i have only grinded gears once and that was because it was such a bastard to get into 3rd. cars under warrenty so not a huge deal but still... had to drop her off for deer damage, id hate to have to drop her off for tranny issues.

I just acquired a tranny from a 1600 duetto, to put into my GTV. seller says the syncros were replaced about 2000 miles and 10 years ago, but the car would come out of 5th gear when decelerating. Are there things I can check before the transmission goes in? do I need to open the case and have a look? thanks, Stan

Well, my 5 speed is torn open and awaiting a rebuild, and since I live in the US, parts are HARD to find. I am looking for Canadian supplier options to find the parts that I need, including the non-US 1st and 5th gears and syncros. Searching the 60 forum and vendor marketplace didn't help me, though I might have overlooked something... probably did, actually. Any leads are much ...

My 91 has a small click-grind- tick- type of noise and feel in the shifter when I shift into 3rd and 4th. Not all of the time and more when it's cold to just warm. Is this the syncros or is there an easyer solution. I don't feel it all of the time but more on quick shifts. Yes the clutch is going all the way down and I have new slave and masters for it. Adjustment on the clutch seems good. Any ...

Full disclosure: I put stuff up for sale. Looked at the FAQ page, didnt see anything about mentioning your own stuff on auction. Stripping my 1992 Bontrager Race Lite OR (and will be selling that too, along with Rock Shox Judy) - but for now: Stuff's a bit newer than the Bonty originally was, but I think still early 90s. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...#ht_691wt_1 075...
