Do you think fin swimmers are swimmers? Do fin swimmer has physical quality as common swimmers? When we do research on fin swimming, should we treat fin swimmers as swimmers?

Here a few pics of my bottle swimmers. They are 8.5" long and weigh 3.5oz when fully rigged. With a steady retreive they swim down about 6 feet and with a sweeping and pause retreive they get down about 8 feet. The black/crackle orange has been in my plug bag all season. Definetly a winning color combo, for me anyway.

Went well. Swimming has been improving lately! Gee--you spend more time doing something, you get better at it! Hmmmm! :-) Shortness of breath: Last ...

Also any beginners/ non-swimmers who would share their first snorkeling experience, how they got comfortable in the ocean, anything to do before the Hawaii trip to help with snorkeling? Places (no need for boat) in Maui and Kona, Big Island for beginners/non-swimmers ...

Get down to the beach - best December sea temperature you will get and calm for the first time in about a month. Probably my first winter sea swim where I didn't lose feeling in hands and feet....although Little William was a bit small by the time I'd finished, but then he was pretty small going in!

Andrew is an 18 year old high school Senior and has been on the swim team for four years now. He has the typical swimmers build with a long lean body standing 6 feet tall and nice muscle mass. He is blond and blue eyed with nice tan but up until now he has been pretty shy around girls. He has recently noticed that many girls have been showing up to watch him swim and he has no idea why. He ...

Robson Green's new [UK] TV series 'wild swimming' is starting in a couple of weeks, and might be of interest to swimmers, albeit not naturist; see; http://entertainment.stv.tv/tv/13844...ing-adventu re/ To those of us who have been open water swimmers for years this may all seem rather old hat to see a newbie re-inventing the wheel, but it could be interesting nevertheless to get ...

Maternal instinct? The humpback protects the seal (bottom right) in its armpit. There are plenty of stories of cetaceans saving humans. Indeed, Jonah was rescued by a whale when he was thrown overboard, and there have been tales of dolphins assisting swimmers in distress or shielding them from circling sharks. Killer whales, however - themselves a species of dolphin - didn't get ...
